You must go hiking in the jungle (irregular terrain), as well as boarding and disembarking boats. Also, the lodge does not meet the ideal conditions for wheelchair use with comfort.
For the safety of pregnant women and their baby, it is suggested to visit the Lodge until the 31st week of gestation. If the pregnant woman has presented any decompensation or hospitalization in the last 30 days, it is better to consult with a doctor who authorizes the trip to the Amazon and the Lodge.
In the case of people with physical, sensory or cognitive disabilities, we regret not being able to provide individual assistance to a traveler to walk, eat, get on and off boats and other needs, so you must travel with a qualified companion, over 18 years old and physically able to assist the traveler during their stay in the lodge, assuming responsibility for their well-being. This companion will pay half the rate.

Activities include the use of boats so it will be necessary to embark and disembark, as well as excursions that may include hiking on irregular or slippery terrain; All this may require some physical effort.

  • Malaria and yellow fever: The mosquito that carries malaria and other diseases is not endemic in our area, which means that it is free of epidemics such as malaria, dengue and yellow fever. Despite this, the Center for Disease Control recommends malaria medications when visiting this region of Peru. Some of our guests have experienced nausea, headaches, stomach aches and other side effects after taking anti-malaria medications. Anti-malaria medications can have significant side effects, so you should consult them with your doctor.
