Amazing amazon experience! We did a 3 day/2 night tour with Amazon Wonder Expeditions, and had a really awesome trip! Allen was great in helping us organise the trip at very late notice and was always available for questions. Our guide for the trip, Eduardo, was a local to the area with unmatched knowledge on everything in the jungle, and also very entertaining. We got to do activities like piranha fishing and saw loads of wildlife, including the pink dolphins, and the schedule was super flexible depending on what our group wanted to do. The rooms at the lodge were clean and well-equipped, all with ensuites and showers (cold water). They could maybe do with a bit of maintenance to patch some of the small gaps in the netting and boards, but given it's the middle of the jungle they suited us really well for a couple of nights and we slept well. The lodge staff were amazing, especially Americo who was super friendly and welcoming, and we had loads of great food for all our meals, including specific vegan dishes. Overall the trip was a fantastic experience and we'd 100% recommend it!

Authentic I have had several experiences in the Amazon and with them, it has been the best. Both the management company and the lodge where we stayed and their staff have been great. Special mention for the guide, Eduardo, he knows more about animals than the National Geographic. Kind and attentive, he explained everything to you with details and foundations. I recommend them 100%

Special experience This trip was truly special. I feel so lucky to have experienced the Amazon jungle with this Amazon Wonders. The food was incredible, catering to vegetarians perfectly. The lodge staff were so welcoming and made me feel at home. Eduardo the tour guide is so knowledgeable about the jungle. He spotted so much wildlife and gave me really interesting information on everything we saw, as well as amazing stories from his time. He is really great and I thank him for his work and great energy. Everything was smooth, Allen picked me up from my hostel and dropped me back again. He even helped me with my airport transportation. He also answered any and all questions I had before the trip. Allen is really great! Overall the experience was amazing, we saw countless wildlife, flora and beautiful sunsets. The lodgings were also lovely, complete with soap shampoo and a towel. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

An unforgettable experience with a small criticism A wonderful experience. Everything was very organized from start to finish. The staff was very friendly. Our guide Francisco / Pancho was great. His knowledge of flora and fauna was unique and very interesting. We would have liked to stay more than 2 days. The only point of criticism for me is the visit to the wild animal sanctuary. Although they probably do a good job for the animals (if you can believe that all the animals were found injured or confiscated from private homes by the police and brought here); For me it was more of a tourist attraction. Putting all the animals, such as sloths, boas, alligators and toucans, in the arms of all the tourists for Instagram photos is not respectful of animals. In addition, we can spread diseases to animals and the chemicals in our mosquito repellents are very harmful to them. We didn't even have to wash our hands to remove the chemicals from the mosquito spray before touching them. Additionally, the dogs at this sanctuary were very malnourished and clearly not cared for, which also had a very negative impact on the experience. We are aware that Amazon Wonders is not directly to blame, but it would be good to reflect on it and raise awareness among the local population. It is unacceptable to use wild animals as a tourist trap and treat local dogs so badly.

Unique and once in a lifetime experience at the 4D3N tour I'm just back from a unique and really fantastic once in a lifetime experience with Amazon Wonder Expeditions. I did the 4D3N tour and the whole crew, Allen and his dad, our lodge host Americo and of course our tour guide Francisco, was very kind, warm hearted and caring. They all did their best to make this trip so special and unique: we did day time jungle walks, night walks, early morning bird watching, saw the pink and the grey dolphins, did swim in the Amazon with the dolphins, did Piranha fishing, went to Monkey Island and visited several Amazon villages and its people. Very special was visiting the Yagua tribe people. I saw so many different animals that I can't count. Francisco is such a great guide as the jungle is his home and he knows literally everything about it and shared his knowledge with us. Staying in the comfortable lodge where they served every day great breakfast, lunch and dinner (thanks to Americo and his whole team) was especially in the nights a unique experience, listening to the sounds of the jungle. I really recommend this tour so much to everyone who wants to have such a unique and once in a lifetime experience too. Thanks again, Allen, Americo and Francisco.

Highly recommended We had an amazing experience with Amazon Wonder Expeditions (3 day jungle tour). Good communication beforehand and they took our wishes into account with the itinerary so it felt like a custom made tour. We got everything we needed: binoculars (on request) en rubber boots. Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable, you could tell he grew up in the jungle and has a passion for his job. The lodge and the food there was also great. Would highly recommend!

An excellent Amazon weekend despite flight issues! Luis and Allen were wonderful and really went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. Our group's flight was unfortunately delayed over 12 hours, and Luis and Allen rejigged the itinerary to try to include as much as possible of the original plan despite this delay. They handled all the unexpected complications seamlessly and we were still able to enjoy the Amazon fully, including piranha fishing, monkey sanctuary, several jungle walks and a canoe ride to see fantastic birds, and their knowledge of the forest led to some wonderful sightings, including a sloth and 2 types of snake. I very much enjoyed this excursion and would recommend Amazon Wonder Expeditions highly.

Literally one of the best weekends of my life My trip was severely delayed due to a canceled flight, but Allan and Luis made sure we were taken care of as soon as we arrived and wasted no time making sure we still managed to do and see everything and even had a little downtime in between. They and their team made sure we were always overfed, saw pink dolphins (a life dream of mine) and prehistoric birds, fished and ate delicious piranha (I caught 4! Thank you Luis for the tips!), expertly guided us down the Amazon river and through the jungle, bonded with the sweetest little monkeys you could ever hope to meet, and swam in that beautiful river. There were so, so many amazing experiences in such a small period, we wondered how they managed to stop time for us. If you are considering a visit to the Amazon, please look no further than Amazon Wonder Expeditions. I know I will never forget their care and expertise or the incredible sounds of that amazing rainforest.

Big thanks to Amazon Wonder Expeditions I had a great time exploring the jungle with Amazon Wonder Expeditions. Our guides were very friendly, very knowledgeable about absolutely everything and answered any questions we had. You could tell they wanted to make sure we had a great time. They made sure everything in our hostel accommodation was taken care of and we had really great meals, always on time. We were able to do some really fun activities like fishing for piranhas (they even cooked the ones we caught afterwards!), swimming in the river, playing with monkeys, going on night hiking trips to look for bugs, and taking private sunrise canoe tours. Thanks to their highly trained eyes that can detect camouflaged animals in a way that the untrained eye never could, we were able to see some really cool animals like sloths, all kinds of birds, and even tarantulas. They also speak English, so if you are an international traveler there will be no communication problems.
