Tour Details

  • Pick up from Hotel. Departure at 9:00 am from the Private Port Club Deportivo Caza y Pesca. (Bellavista Nanay)
  • Visit to the Insect Farm, a place where you will have the chance to observe different kind of beetles, tarantulas, bullet ant, poison frogs such as the Phyllomedusa Bicolor (Monkey frog or Kambo frog).
  • Visit to the Bora Native Community where we appreciate their typical dances, rituals and customs. We will play the Manguare, ancestral instrument of the tribe. Purchase of handicrafts (optional).
  • Visit to the Serpentarium Animal Rescue Center, we will observe the sloth, macaws, monkeys, turtles and the famous Anaconda.
  • Visit to the Trapiche, the artisan factory of sugar cane rum and its derivatives, at the same time you will learn about the exotic drinks of the region and the natural medicines of the jungle, such as dragon´s blood, cat´s calw and others.
  • Return to the city of Iquitos. End of Program.
